How to read the subscription table

QIB
Qualified institutional buyers: mutual funds, FPIs, banks, insurers. Often treated as the strongest quality signal; QIBs usually bid heavily on the last day.
bNII
Non-institutional applications above ₹10 lakh. Two-thirds of the NII portion. Can be driven by funded applications chasing listing gains.
sNII
Non-institutional applications of ₹2–10 lakh. One-third of the NII portion, allotted by lottery on the minimum size.
Retail
Individual applications up to ₹2 lakh. When oversubscribed, allotment is by lottery, one lot per selected application.
Total
All categories together against the full public issue, excluding the anchor portion.

1x means a category is fully subscribed. Read subscription together with the grey market premium and the company's financials; strong demand improves the odds of a good listing but does not guarantee it.

IPO subscription: FAQs

Which IPOs are open for subscription today?
13 IPOs are open for bidding today (2 Mainboard, 11 SME): Dove Soft IPO, SJP Ultrasonic IPO, Vishal Nirmiti IPO, Nityas Gems & Jewellery IPO, EverestIMS Technologies IPO and Eventions IPO and others.
Which IPO is the most subscribed right now?
Vans Electroengineerings IPO is the most subscribed current IPO at 644.80x overall, with QIBs at 281.65x.
Do heavily subscribed IPOs list at a gain?
In the last 12 months, IPOs subscribed over 100x listed at an average of 45.5%, and 92% of them listed above the issue price. IPOs subscribed under 1x averaged -4.9%. High subscription improves the odds but does not guarantee a listing gain.
What does IPO subscription status mean?
It shows how many times the shares on offer have been bid for, by investor category and in total. 1x means fully subscribed; 3x means bids for three times the shares available. The anchor portion is excluded.
What is the difference between QIB, bNII, sNII and retail?
QIBs are institutions such as mutual funds, FPIs and insurers. NII covers non-institutional applications above ₹2 lakh, split into sNII (₹2–10 lakh) and bNII (above ₹10 lakh). Retail is individual applications up to ₹2 lakh.
When is IPO subscription data updated?
NSE and BSE publish bid data several times a day while an IPO is open; final figures come after bidding closes. This page shows the latest figures with the time of the last update.
How does subscription affect my allotment chances?
When the retail or sNII portion is oversubscribed, allotment is decided by lottery on the minimum lot, so applying for more lots does not improve your chances. The higher the subscription, the lower the chance per application.

Subscription figures are compiled from NSE and BSE bid data and may be revised by the exchanges. GMP is an unofficial indicator. For information only; not investment advice.
