Jio Platforms Limited was incorporated in 2019 and is a technology-driven digital services company built on proprietary technology and pan-India digital connectivity. The Company operates through its subsidiary, Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited, which served approximately 524.4 million customers as of March 31, 2026.
The Company offers mobile and fixed broadband connectivity along with digital services across entertainment, gaming, cloud, smart home and artificial intelligence. Its consumer platforms include MyJio, JioTV+, JioSaavn, JioGames and JioAICloud. For enterprises, it provides connectivity, cloud, IoT, unified communications, managed services, cybersecurity and private 5G solutions.
Jio Platforms has developed a vertically integrated technology stack spanning network infrastructure, devices, operating systems, software platforms and digital applications. As of March 31, 2026, its network comprised approximately 360,382 towers and more than 1.0 million route kilometres of fibre. It had approximately 268.5 million 5G customers and 27.1 million fixed broadband customers.
As of March 31, 2026, the Company and its subsidiaries had 28,163 full-time employees and had filed 6,817 patent applications covering technologies relating to 4G, 5G, 6G, artificial intelligence and digital connectivity.
The Company is promoted by Reliance Industries Limited, which held 66.43% of its pre-Issue equity share capital. Jio Platforms continues to expand its digital ecosystem and technology capabilities to provide connectivity and digital services to consumers and enterprises across India.
