About Laser Power & Infra Limited
Laser Power & Infra Limited is an integrated manufacturer of power cables, conductors, and other specialised products used in India's power transmission and distribution sector. With more than 30 years of industry experience, the company has established itself as a leading player in eastern India and has expanded its presence across the country and overseas.
In addition to manufacturing, the company entered the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) business in 2015, providing turnkey solutions for rural electrification, power distribution infrastructure, and substation installation. This diversification enables Laser Power to offer end-to-end solutions for power infrastructure projects.
The company operates through two business segments:
- Manufacturing: Produces power cables, control cables, speciality cables, conductors, aluminium wire rods, and other power transmission products.
- EPC: Executes turnkey power distribution projects, including rural and urban electrification, substations, and distribution network development.
As of March 31, 2026, Laser Power operated three manufacturing facilities in West Bengal (two at Dhulagarh and one at Kharagpur) with a combined installed manufacturing capacity of 85,448 MT. The strategically located plants near Kolkata and Haldia ports help ensure efficient procurement of raw materials and timely product delivery.
The company has built a strong execution record with a healthy order book of ₹32,434 million as of March 31, 2026. Its operations span 26 Indian states, 4 union territories, and 10 international markets, serving customers across the power transmission and distribution ecosystem.
