Incorporated in 2019, Gujarat Kidney & Super Speciality Limited (“GKASSL”) is a regional multispeciality healthcare provider offering secondary and tertiary care services across multiple locations in Gujarat, India. The company operates a network of multispeciality hospitals supported by in-house pharmacy and diagnostic services, catering to both private patients and beneficiaries under government healthcare schemes such as Ayushman Bharat – PMJAY.

As of June 30, 2025, GKASSL operated seven multispeciality hospitals and four pharmacies with an aggregate infrastructure of 490 total beds, including 455 approved beds and 340 operational beds. Its hospital network includes Gujarat Kidney and Superspeciality Hospital (Vadodara), Gujarat Multispeciality Hospital (Godhra), Raj Palmland Hospital Private Limited (Bharuch), Surya Hospital and ICU (Borsad), Gujarat Surgical Hospital (Vadodara), Ashwini Medical Centre (Anand), along with Ashwini Medical Store (Anand).

The company provides a comprehensive range of medical services spanning:

  • Secondary Care Services: General medicine and general surgical treatments
  • Tertiary Care Services: Super speciality surgical procedures

Gujarat Superspeciality Hospital delivers care across multiple clinical disciplines, including internal medicine, general and minimally invasive surgery, orthopaedics and trauma care, joint replacement, obstetrics and gynaecology, respiratory care, non-interventional cardiology, diabetology, and anaesthesiology.

As of June 30, 2025, the company employed 759 personnel, comprising 89 doctors, 332 nurses, and 338 other staff members.

The workforce at that time comprised 322 personnel, including 47 doctors, 138 nurses, 21 full-time consultants, and 32 visiting consultants.

In line with its expansion strategy, the company is acquiring Parekhs Hospital, Ahmedabad—a 49-bed facility (including 8 ICU beds) commissioned in 2006—for ₹77 crore, funded through net proceeds, further strengthening its footprint in Gujarat’s underpenetrated healthcare markets.
