Barflex Polyfilms Limited was established on January 24, 2005, as a private limited company, specializing in the manufacture of flexible packaging materials. Its first manufacturing unit, Unit-I, located in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh, produces barrier COEX films, laminates, and PVC labels with an annual capacity of 2400 MT.
In 2008, the company expanded its operations by setting up two additional units to diversify and increase its customer base:
- Unit-II was established near Unit-I with an annual capacity of 950 MT to produce PVC shrink sleeves.
- Unit-III was set up at a different location in Baddi, with a focus on manufacturing PVC stretch and plastic films and pouches, at an annual capacity of 865 MT.
By 2011 and 2012, Unit-II's capacity was enhanced to 3000 MT per annum, which included the manufacturing of pouches, plastic films, laminates, and PVC shrink sleeves.
Barflex Polyfilms is involved in producing flexible packaging materials for various industries, including FMCG, processed foods, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, engineering, and construction. Its product range includes 3-layer and 5-layer poly films, laminates, vacuum pouches, 5-layer bulk liners, and PVC shrink labels. The company plans to expand further by introducing 7-layer films, aiming to become a preferred packaging vendor for its customers.
